This project has given me the opportunity to learn more in depth about this local issue, that is, not giving equal educational rights and opportunities to under-privileged children. This project allowed me to solve this issue with the help of its guidelines. By following its guidelines, I was able to approach an NGO and become a part of it by filling in the volunteer form.

Being a teenager, I realized that most of the teenagers use technology only for social media purposes, so why not use a social media platform for a good cause, like, educating the under-privileged via Skype. This expanded my knowledge and made me understand that social media platforms can play a vital role in solving local issues.

My voluntary journey has pushed me to do an inexplicable amount of research on digitalized education and understand why is it necessary to introduce technology to the under-privileged kids. During the project, I became aware of the problems faced in rural communities, this is when I gained knowledge about different cultures/class not receiving the equal amount of educational rights/opportunities. I stopped classifying people in their culture groups and looked at the bigger picture, where children from different cultural backgrounds come together to attend the Skype sessions. In this manner, the students would also develop their appreciation and admiration for cultures . Moreover, I also became aware about the cultural diversification in the rural communities, which gave me an insight on what activities should be arranged for them to be united.
